Uninterrupted time to untangle what’s beneath the surface and reconnect with your inner clarity
💬 Do You Find Yourself Wanting to Go Deeper… Just as the Session Ends?
You're not alone.
Many clients share that just as they begin to open up — the 50 minutes are up. It can feel like the very moment you’re ready to explore what really matters, the clock pulls you back.
That’s where intensives come in.
They offer extended, intentional time to get to the heart of things — without rushing, without holding back, and without losing momentum.
It’s like upgrading your mental software - with less buffering and more breakthroughs.
Is an Intensive Right for You?
🔁 You feel like you’re looping through the same patterns.
Weekly therapy hasn’t brought the shift you’re hoping for. You spend most of the session updating your therapist — and leave feeling like you barely scratched the surface.
🕰️ You want to go deeper — without the wait.
You're in a tough season and need support now.
🧠 You’re craving focused time to really process.
Life is busy. Weekly therapy feels like just another item on the to-do list. An intensive lets you carve out time and space to slow down and actually do the work.
🚪 You’re new to therapy — and this approach just feels right. You don’t need to “warm up” with months of background work. You’re ready to start strong and explore meaningful change, right from the beginning.
🌱 You prefer depth over drip.
You want to make progress now — not in six months. An intensive helps you connect the dots quickly, while still moving at your own emotional pace.
If you’re here, something in you is ready.
Ready to slow down, to feel seen, and to start making sense of what’s been overwhelming or stuck.

How does intensive psychotherapy work?Intensive psychotherapy is a deeper, more focused way of working. These sessions typically last between 1.5 to 3 hours and are designed around you - your goals, your emotional capacity, and what’s coming up in your life right now. Unlike traditional weekly therapy, where time often runs out just as something meaningful begins to surface, an intensive allows us to stay with what’s emerging - without rushing. This gives your system the space it needs to regulate, reflect, and begin real integration. 🌀 What a Session Might Look Like: Grounding: We begin by settling your nervous system and clarifying your intention for the session. Deep Work: We may move into Internal Family Systems (IFS) parts work, somatic tracking, or other trauma-informed modalities depending on what you’re carrying and what your system can handle that day. Integration: We always close with time to reflect, reorient, and gently integrate the work - so you leave grounded and supported. Beyond the Session: You’ll receive optional pre- and post-session materials to help you prepare and reflect, along with personalized takeaways or practices if you’d like them. This isn’t about pushing you into intensity - it’s about giving you time and space to move through what’s ready, with care.

Why do a Trauma Processing, IFS/Parts Work Intensive? There are moments in life when we need more than a weekly check-in. Maybe you’re feeling stuck, looping through the same issues in therapy without real movement. Or you’ve recently gone through something painful or destabilizing that’s still sitting with you, unprocessed. A trauma processing intensive offers the space, time, and support to gently go deeper, not just to talk about the past, but to actually work with it in the present. 🧠 An Intensive Might Be Right for You If… You’ve been doing weekly therapy, but you’re stuck or circling the same patterns. You’re not in therapy yet, but you know you’re ready to dive into something deeper. You want to experience meaningful healing that doesn’t have to take months. You’ve had a painful or overwhelming experience that still lingers in your body or nervous system. You have time off work or school and want to use it for your emotional well-being - like a “mental health reset.” You’ve done modalities like EMDR, Brainspotting, or somatic therapy before and want a fresh, integrative approach. You’re preparing for a major life shift (a move, job change, parenthood, wedding, or graduation) and want to feel emotionally steady. You’re on the edge of a breakthrough in therapy and want focused support to help you move through it. Trauma doesn’t move on a schedule, and your healing doesn’t have to either. Intensives create the space for things to unfold naturally, with enough time to process, pause, and integrate , without rushing the parts of you that need care the most.

What is a Trauma Processing, Internal Family Systems (IFS)/Parts Work Intensive? An intensive is a longer, structured therapy session designed to support deeper healing than a standard 50-minute session allows. In this trauma-focused intensive, we’ll use the Internal Family Systems (IFS) model to explore your inner world, gently getting to know the protective parts of you that hold pain, fear, or shame, and creating space for healing. IFS views the mind as made up of different “parts,” all with unique roles. In this extended format, we have the time to build trust with those parts, unburden what they’re carrying, and reconnect you to your core Self, the calm, compassionate presence within.

Is there clinical research to support intensive therapy?Emerging research suggests that intensive trauma therapy sessions—such as the integrative approach offered here—can potentially provide meaningful benefits, especially when traditional weekly sessions feel limited or slow-moving. Here's what recent studies have suggested about the types of therapies used in our intensive approach: Internal Family Systems (IFS): Early evidence indicates that IFS therapy delivered intensively might significantly reduce PTSD symptoms, emotional overwhelm, and dissociation, especially for adults carrying complex childhood trauma histories. (Read more) Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT): Research supports that intensive applications of TF-CBT delivered over short periods may quickly alleviate severe PTSD and anxiety symptoms, reducing treatment dropout rates and improving therapeutic outcomes. (Read more) Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT): Studies indicate that DBT skills intensives or condensed DBT programs can swiftly improve emotional regulation, reduce distress, and stabilize clients facing trauma-related emotional crises, particularly when standard weekly sessions might not be adequate. (Read more) Why does this matter to you? If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or urgently in need of support, an intensive format may offer a pathway toward quicker stabilization, deeper processing, and meaningful change. While these studies are promising, therapeutic outcomes vary, and ultimately, it’s about finding the right fit for you.
