Trauma Processing Intensive & Self-Esteem Intensive available September 2025
You might feel like you're constantly battling yourself, pulled in different directions, stuck in shame, self-doubt, or overwhelm.
IFS therapy offers a gentle, effective way to understand these inner conflicts and meet them with curiosity instead of judgment.
Whether you're struggling with anxiety, complex trauma, perfectionism, or emotional reactivity, this approach helps you build inner harmony and self-trust.
What is Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy?
FS is a trauma-informed, evidence-based model of psychotherapy that sees the mind as made up of "parts", each with its own story, emotion, and role.
Some parts carry pain or trauma. Others step in to protect you in ways that may no longer be helpful. At the core of it all is your Self: calm, curious, and capable of leading your system with compassion.
What IFS Therapy Can Help With:
-
Childhood or relational trauma
-
Anxiety, panic, or chronic stress
-
Perfectionism and harsh inner critics
-
People-pleasing and emotional burnout
-
Self-esteem and identity struggles
-
Neurodivergent inner experience (e.g., masking, shutdowns, overwhelm)
-
Feeling stuck in patterns you can’t talk yourself out of
-
Emotional regulation and self-compassion
How I Use IFS in My Practice:
-
IFS is integrated into much of the work I do, whether you're a teen exploring big feelings for the first time, a young adult navigating identity and independence, or a parent holding space for your child while struggling to hold space for yourself.

-
You don't need to come in knowing the language of "parts." Together, we'll slow things down, listen deeply, and build a safe space to explore your internal system at a pace that feels right for you.
What to Expect in an IFS Session:
IFS isn't about fixing what's "wrong" with you. It's about getting to know the parts of you that are trying to help, even if their strategies aren't working anymore.
Sessions often involve:

-
Noticing and naming what parts are present (e.g., the anxious one, the critic, the shut-down part)

-
Gently un-blending from those parts so you can hear their stories without being overwhelmed

-
Reconnecting with your Self, the you that is grounded, calm, and capable of healing from within
Is IFS Right for Me?
If you feel stuck in patterns that insight alone hasn't changed, or if you're tired of being hard on yourself just to function, IFS may offer a new way forward.
It can be especially powerful if you’re neurodivergent, highly sensitive, or navigating trauma or identity-related stress.
