Just as you’re getting to the root of your self-doubt or starting to uncover what’s really going on underneath the perfectionism, the 50-minute session ends. You leave feeling raw, unfinished, or like you have to tuck everything back in.

That’s where individualized intensive therapy comes in. It gives you the space to go deeper, without rushing or cutting short the parts that need time and care.

You’re watching your teen battle self-doubt, perfectionism, or a constant need to fit in, and no matter how much you reassure them or try to connect, it doesn’t seem to help. This intensive is designed to meet your teen where they are, giving them focused support to explore who they are, how they feel about themselves, and where they do (or don’t) feel like they belong. The extended format allows time for real work, without the rush of weekly 50-minute sessions.

While sessions are confidential to protect their emotional safety, I value your role and keep space open for parent communication outside of sessions when needed. You’ll never be left in the dark, and your teen won’t have to navigate this alone.

How is intensive therapy more cost effective and time efficient than weekly sessions?

 Weekly Therapy
  • 10–15 minutes checking in from the last session

  • 20–30 minutes of deeper work (if there’s time)

  • 10–15 minutes closing and grounding

  • Monthly cost can range from $800–$1000

  • Requires multiple appointments over weeks or months

 Intensive Therapy
  • 15 minutes to check in and set a clear focus

  • 2–3 hours of continuous, uninterrupted inner work

  • Time to stay with what’s emerging, no need to rush

  • Space for deeper nervous system regulation and parts work

  • Integration happens during the session, not weeks later

  • Fewer total sessions needed overall

  • Saves time, mental energy, and often money, 2-3hr IFS/parts session costs about $750.

  • Easier to commit to with a busy or unpredictable schedule

What are the fees?

Personalized Integrative Self-Esteem intensives begin with a half-day format (3 hours), which can offer meaningful progress in a single session. For deeper work, or for slower paced work, intensives can be extended across multiple days. We’ll talk through what feels right for you during the intake session.

Intensive sessions are typically billed at $270/hour, and may be eligible for reimbursement through extended health insurance plans.

Intensive Packages –  start at $1,350 CAD

Includes:

  • 1-hour intake session (booked prior to your intensive)

  • 3-hour trauma-focused intensive session

  • 1-hour post intensive consolidation session

  • Pre and post session materials to support preparation and integration

This format is often enough for clients looking for a one-time deep dive. For others, a series of intensives may be recommended depending on the goals and what comes up in the work.
