Summer Intensives for Teens and Young Adults
In-person in Toronto and
Virtual Across Ontario

You may have been trying to figure it out alone for longer than you would like. Maybe there has been anxiety, emotional overwhelm, school stress, relationship strain, or questions about identity, direction, or what comes next. When so much has been building at once, it can be hard to know where to start.

In this summer intensive, we create space to explore what feels overwhelming, uncertain, or hard to carry, so things can begin to feel more manageable and less alone.

A summer intensive offers space to slow down, go deeper, and focus on what needs care right now.

Does This Sound Familiar?
  • You’ve been trying to push through, but it is getting harder to carry everything on your own.

  • Anxiety, overwhelm, or emotional stress have been showing up more often, or more intensely, than you would like.

  • School, relationships, identity questions, or family dynamics have left you feeling stuck, unsettled, or stretched thin.

  • You may be wondering whether summer is a chance to finally slow down and focus on what is going on.

  • You want support that feels more focused, more intentional, and better matched to what you are carrying right now.

What Might Be Getting In theWay....

Overthinking

Every decision feels like a high-stakes exam. You replay conversations, doubt your gut, and get stuck in loops of “What if?” and “Did I mess that up?” It’s exhausting, and it steals your peace.

People Pleasing

You want to be liked, needed, or at least not disappointing — so you say yes when you want to say no. You scan the room for approval and lose pieces of yourself in the process. Over time, it’s hard to know where others end and you begin.

Feeling Not Enough

You tell yourself to try harder, be better, fix yourself — because maybe then you’ll feel worthy. On the outside, you’re holding it together. Inside, it’s a swirl of self-doubt, comparison, and the quiet belief that something is wrong with you.

Shame + Self-Criticism

There’s a voice inside that’s constantly pointing out your flaws. It sounds like yours, but it’s cruel, relentless, and keeps you from showing up fully. It tells you to shrink, hide, or prove your worth, and it’s just so loud.

Identity Confusion

You’re asking big questions like “Who am I?” or “What do I really want?”,  but the answers feel blurry. Maybe you’ve spent years being who others needed you to be, and now that you finally have space, you feel more lost than ever.

Emotional Numbness

You’re not falling apart — but you’re not really living either. You feel disconnected from joy, relationships, or even yourself. You’re going through the motions, hoping that at some point, things will feel real again.

A Summer Intensive May be a Good Fit for:

  • Teens struggling with anxiety, overwhelm, school stress, friendship issues, family changes, or identity questions

  • Young adults navigating transitions, self-doubt, burnout, emotional stress, or uncertainty about what comes next

  • Parents of teens looking for more focused support for a child who seems stuck, overwhelmed, or not themselves

Why Choose A Summer Intensive

More time to go deeper
A longer session offers space to move beyond the surface and explore what is really going on.

Focused support for what needs attention now
This can be especially helpful when anxiety, overwhelm, emotional stress, or a life transition has been building over time.

A supportive time of year
Summer can offer more flexibility and space for teens and young adults to engage in therapy more intentionally.

A different pace than weekly therapy
An intensive provides a more concentrated format when weekly sessions feel too brief or too spread out.

Sometimes weekly therapy isn’t enough.
Just as you’re getting to the root of your self-doubt or starting to uncover what’s really going on underneath the perfectionism, the 50-minute session ends. You leave feeling raw, unfinished, or like you have to tuck everything back in.

That’s where individualized intensive therapy comes in. It gives you the space to go deeper, without rushing or cutting short the parts that need time and care.

If You Are the Parent of a Teen Who’s Struggling?

You’re watching your teen battle self-doubt, perfectionism, or a constant need to fit in, and no matter how much you reassure them or try to connect, it doesn’t seem to help. Maybe they’ve shut down emotionally or become more reactive, and you’re feeling unsure of how to support them without pushing them away.

This intensive is designed to meet your teen where they are, giving them focused support to explore who they are, how they feel about themselves, and where they do (or don’t) feel like they belong. The extended format allows time for real work, without the rush of weekly 50-minute sessions.

While sessions are confidential to protect their emotional safety, I value your role and keep space open for parent communication outside of sessions when needed. You’ll never be left in the dark, and your teen won’t have to navigate this alone.

They want to feel better. You want to help.

This can be the place where that begins.

It may feel impossible right now, to stop overthinking, to speak up, to feel like you’re enough.

But you don’t have to stay stuck in the mess of self-doubt and comparison.

And I can help you get there.

Ready to stop overthinking every step, questioning your worth, or shrinking yourself to fit in.

Therapy Approaches

Focused time to work through what’s been holding you back, so you can start showing up with more confidence, clarity, and self-trust.

Frequently asked questions

How is intensive therapy more cost effective and time efficient than weekly sessions?

 Weekly Therapy
  • 10–15 minutes checking in from the last session

  • 20–30 minutes of deeper work (if there’s time)

  • 10–15 minutes closing and grounding

  • Often interrupted by life events between sessions

  • Progress can feel slow or scattered

  • Focus may shift week to week

  • Monthly cost can range from $800–$1000

  • Requires multiple appointments over weeks or months

  • Harder to stay in the zone emotionally

 Intensive Therapy
  • 15 minutes to check in and set a clear focus

  • 2–3 hours of continuous, uninterrupted inner work

  • Time to stay with what’s emerging, no need to rush

  • Space for deeper nervous system regulation and parts work

  • Integration happens during the session, not weeks later

  • Fewer total sessions needed overall

  • Saves time, mental energy, and often money, 2-3hr session costs about $750.

  • Easier to commit to with a busy or unpredictable schedule

What are the fees?

Personalized Integrative Self-Esteem intensives begin with a half-day format (3 hours), which can offer meaningful progress in a single session. For deeper work, or for slower paced work, intensives can be extended across multiple days. We’ll talk through what feels right for you during the intake session.

Intensive sessions are typically billed at $270/hour, and may be eligible for reimbursement through extended health insurance plans.

Intensive Packages –  start at $1,350 CAD

Includes:

  • 90-minute intake session (booked prior to your intensive)

  • 3-hour focused intensive session

  • 30-minute post intensive consolidation session

  • Pre and post session materials to support preparation and integration

This format is often enough for clients looking for a one-time deep dive. For others, a series of intensives may be recommended depending on the goals and what comes up in the work.

I offer Free Phone Consultations to discuss your needs and whether this format is right for you.

Now it’s time for the deep work.
1–3 days. Structured support.
Real momentum.
